About
I've been making quizzes for friends and family for years. The rounds people remember are always the ones about them. So I figured — why not turn that into a business?
Background
I started doing improv about 5 years ago, then stand-up, and somewhere along the way started hosting quizzes. I've performed at The Comedy Store and taken a comedy game show to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025. All of that informs how I host.
The crowd management, the ability to read a room, knowing when to push the energy and when to let a moment breathe — you can't fake that. It either comes from experience or it doesn't.
I run every quiz myself. There's no team, no subcontracting. When you book me, you get me. And I show up with everything ready — slides locked, answer sheets printed, music loaded, kit packed. Nothing improvised on the night.
How I work
Every booking gets rounds written specifically for that group. No copy-paste questions, no generic pub quiz banks. If I can't personalise it, I don't take the booking.
Quizzes die when the host lets the energy drop in the first 10 minutes. I don't. The opening round is designed to get the room loud fast, and we hold it from there.
Physical answer sheets, transparent scoring, no apps. People don't have to stare at their phones. They talk to each other, argue about the answers, and actually have fun.
Book
Tell me about your event. I'll come back with a quote and some ideas for the rounds within 24 hours.
